Listening to the grand dame of Jazz in the dark sure enhances the experience of appreciating Jazz. Kekeke.. If you're wondering who is the grand lady of Jazz, well, she's none other than the person named in the title of my blog today. I don't know much about the history of Jazz, only that I like to listen to it especially on lonely nights as well as rainy days. I love the sound of the '40s swing band just permeating the surroundings of the study during a hot, sunny afternoon. That just invokes the feeling of "Summertime". I'm bracing myself for the latest album release from my fav Linkin Park group member Mike Shinoda. His band, Fort Minor should be releasing an album sometime in November. I can't wait for it!! The first single, now playing on radio "Believe Me", sounds a bit pop-ish, probably a good move to release to the mass audience. Anyway, when I visited the site, I found that I'm quickly addicted to "Remember The Name". However, I have to say that I like the beat and soundmix in "Believe Me". Meanwhile, Linkin Park fans, we'll have to wait for our early "Christmas" pressie in Nov! ARRRGGGHHH.. .I CAN'T WAIT... I'LL BE GOOD... LET ME HAVE THIS CD NOW!!! |
