July 21 Hum A Few Bars...Another brilliant piece of conversational banter between EV and myself... EV: What have you been doing? No more football, rite? Me: Errr.. Waiting for EPL to start.. Aug 19th.. EV: Again? Aiyooo... Me: ** grin ** Me: Actually, I was listening to music, singing some songs... EV: Huh? Sing song? Me: Yeahh... This brought back some memories when I was studying... April 1996, Roberts Hall, Monash University, Melb, Aust... Me: Lalalalaa... ** skipping to my friend's room ** Friend #1: Hai NG... Me: Eh! Halo.. Halo.. Friend #1: Come, come.. I show you something.. Me: What ?? What?? Friend #1: Shhhhhh... Listen **Me & Friend #1 listen intently** )))) LALALAALA WAAAAHHHHHHWHWHWWNYAOOOAOA (((( Me: O____O.. What the heck is that??? Friend #1: ** trying to hold back the giggles ** Your friend is singing... Me: BUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! Friend #1: MUAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA Me: Does she do this every time?? Friend #1: AFAIK, every time I pass by her room, I hear this sound. Sometimes, I hear it from my room too... (she stays a floor above..) Me: o____O... OMG, it's that loud??? Friend #1: No-la, the place is too quiet... I asked my other friend, YC who also stays one floor above about the noise and she said, "Oh yeah! Sometimes it's quite loud, other times, its ok" So, I confronted this person about this "noise"... Me: Oii. Do you know that you're disturbing your neighbours? Culprit: Huh?? I didn't get any complaints from them... Me: Yeala.. Someone came and asked me if I knew the occupant of this room... Culprit: And then? Me: I said I'll speak to you about the noise.. Culprit: What noise?? Me: Errrr... your singing.... Culprit: MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH!!!!!!!! Me: Don't laugh!! You're contributing to sound pollution!!!!! Oh well, the "culprit" didn't learn her lesson. She continued to belt out songs as long as she stayed in that room. If you want to know who it was... it was...... none other than......... EV... o___O.... July 07 Busy Weekend...My calendar never looked busier than this week. (@__@) Of course, those who doesn't like or know nuts about football may choose to watch Wimbeldon (esp the women's final.. kekeke) and those who know nuts about tennis, will definitely watch WC2006. Those whose hard-earned $$ or entire week's worth of WoW or lunch $$ will definitely watch the colossal Italy vs France match. Anyway, I will probably lose alot of sleep this weekend. I've got Wimbeldon to catch (Roger Federer to win!!!) as well as WC2006 finals (France will win!!!). So, I'll be dead tired on Monday when I go to work... (=___=) Hope that the match will be clean and that the "kayu-ness" of the ref will be kept to a low-level.... June 30 EV = EeeVilA lot of people know that EV = Emotion Vampire, but last night, I found out that it could also mean EeeVil. Why? Here's the conversation I had with her last night, (I have to stress the last night bit) Me: Why are you going to sleep so early tonite? EV: Because I have a lot of work to do tomorrow... Me: Ohhh... EV: Eh? Who's playing in the next round of World Cup? Me: Hmmmm, Germany vs Argentina-lo, then Italy vs Ukraine-lo, EV: You plan to watch the 3am matches? Me: No-la! Not enough energy, I'll only watch the 11pm matches. EV: So, what have you been doing these past few days? Watching football? Me: No-la, got two days rest. No football for two days. ^_^ EV: What time is Germany playing? Me: 11pm-lo... EV: Eh, are they playing now?? Me: It's 11:22pm, SH**TTT!!!! The match has started!! EV: Haha!! What-la you, forget about the match-la! Me: Ok! Ok! Bye Bye!! ** A few minutes later ** Me: ....$#@$#$%$^#%@#$ (grumbling) EV: HEWWWOOOO??? Me: You are SOOO EEEVVVIIILLL... EV: HAHAHHAHA.. Why??? Me: You tricked me! You bloody tricked me!! There's no match today!!! EV: HAHAHAHAHA!!! Eh? I thought Germany playing at 11pm? Me: They are playing..............on Friday. EV: MUAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAA (Evil laughter) Me: -____-||| EV: Why you so stupid!! Today is only Thursday! Me: You tricked me!!!! You evil, evil person... True to her name, EV is not just an Emotion Vampire but she is just pure evil.... -_- June 28 Got the MyKAD!!Finally, after waiting for about one freakin' month, I got the MyKad. I had been poking around the JPN website a couple of weeks back to check the status of my MyKad. Turns out that it was ready for collection! I didn't expect it to be done so quickly but then, I paid RM110 in fines because the JPN lost my records after I first made my IC (identity card) when I turned 12. -_____-|||| Anyway, I reached the place a little early but then, because they had to have their lunch from 1:00pm - 2:00pm, the place was closed. I should have taken some photos but then, my digital camera was stolen. Oh well, it was a mad stampede to get to the counter once the doors opened at 2:00pm and it didn't occur to the JPN officers to open both double doors instead of one to prevent a stampede of sorts. -____-||| I waited for close to 45minutes to collect the card, which isn't so bad compared to me wasting about 4hrs to make the damn thing in the first place. Ok, the next thing to do is to check what's in the MyKad. Hopefully, they got most of my stuff right. *sigh* June 26 Football and Timing...Ever since WC2006 (World Cup 2006) started, I've been rather busy with the matches, since I can only either catch the match at 11pm instead of 3am. :(((( Anyway, a couple of interesting snippets of conversation took place between EV and I... **EV's EVIILLL Ringtone rings --- The Muppets** Me: Sei-lo (die-la), she calling again... Me: Harrrlloooo??? EV: Why you never call me? Me: 0__0, was I supposed to call you? -- Talk about nonsense for about.... 30 minutes... (BRAIN MEGA-SUCK!) -- Me: The sky is blue... No no... ZZZZzzzzzzZZZZ EV: ???? What are you talking?? Me: Zzzzzzz... Rooney will play next match... ZZZzzzzzzz EV: OOOIII!!!! Wake up!! I'm paying for this call! You talking nonsense now!! Me: Hehhh??? What?? (Wipes drool from face) EV: YOU FELL ASLEEP while I was talking!! Me: Oops! Heheh.. ^_^ EV: You watching so much football at 3am esit?? Me: Errr.. If I can-la. Usually, I'll catch the midnite match. EV: Waaahhh!! Like that, can you function at work tomorrow? Me: Can-la!! (Confidence) EV: Sure or not?! (Demotivate) Me: Suuurrrreeee... ZZZZzzzzzzz.... Argentina.... GOOOAAALL!!!!... ZZZzzz... EV: 0_____0.... Hey! Its not my fault that I was falling asleep when she called. I'm dead tired from work and she is trying to perform a MEGA BRAIN SUCK operation that night or.. was it morning? I have a bad feeling that if EV were next to me, she'll probably zap me with an electric tazer or something... Anyway, my brain is working at 80% capacity during the day due to WC2006. Sorry for any weird ramblings about England and how Sven Goran-Eriksson should be hung by his gonads due to England's lacklustre performance at WC2006... Meanwhile, enjoy the 2nd round! I'll post another conversation with EV again later... Heeee.. June 23 New Template!!!!Finally, I sat down and did a few things which I wanted to do for a very long time.
Friends are telling me that I love to blog and some are asking me why I'm posting so much rubbish on the web. Well, I want to share some of the stuff going on and especially stories on EV are just too funny not to share it out. LOL!!! ^___^ Anyway, its a Friday and I don't feel like working... June 15 Girls & Balls Don't MixErrrmmm... I'm thinking about football... So banish those dirty thoughts!!!! Anyway, since the Greatest Show On Earth has started, I have been pretty much glued to the TV from 9pm to 2am (if I can manage the midnite matches... kekeke). So, I've been neglecting EV for a while. Finally, she decided to call up. **EV's Diabolical Ringtone.... Muppet** Me: Sei-lo!! EV calling.... (o_0) NOTE: "Sei-lo" is cantonese for Die-lo **Press Answer button** Me: HARRRLLOOOOO!!! Hao May I Heps Chu? (Hello, How may I help you?) EV: You didn't call me!!!!! What have you been doing??!!! Me: .... Was watching World Cup-lo... EV: Really? Is it still on???? Me: .... (clutching heart) Me: It should be still on. It would be on for an entire month. EV: WHHHAATTT???!! Sooo long??? How come? I thought they play 1 game and then, get knocked out? So, finals should be soon! Me: ... (gasping for air) Me: No-la! They play round-robin system. After this round, the top two winners of the group will play each other. Then, will get knocked out until the finals. EV: Ohhhhh... How many teams-ar? Me: 32 EV: Wahhh!!! So many!!!!!! Mai take 1 month to gao tim-lo! Me: That's what I've been trying to say..... (-___-) You can't blame EV. She doesn't know sports. If you give her a football, she'll most likely bounce it like a basketball. If you give her a basketball, she'll probably kick it like a football. -___________-||| Anyway, I'm happily enjoying my WC2006. Like I said to some friends, we'll know who the winners will be but it'll be interesting to see who can make it to the quarter and semi-finals of WC2006. **EV's Diabolical Ringtone rings again....** Me: Harrlooo!!! EV: Eh! Got one question to ask you. Me: Yeah? EV: Why I hear that South Korea will play Australia again? I thought they lost? Me: 0___0 Me: Errr... They're playing round-robin system. Means, they'll play everyone in the same group. The top two in the group will advance to the next stage. By the way, South Korea beat Togo... Where you get your news from??? EV: Ohhhh... Eh, so, now Germany is the highest-la, they can advance-la. Me: Hard to say, because they haven't finished playing everyone else! EV: Eh? Its not like badminton-ar? Once you lose, you are out? Me: Noooooo... That's different system. EV: So, is this part of the rules? Me: What rules? EV: The rules of football? Me: ........ Me: Nooo... Its just rules of the competition. EV: Ohhhhh.... Me: This is just the fundamentals-la. Imagine if I have to teach you the offside rule. EV: Ahhh??? I'm not interested... Well, EV's not the only one who knows nuts about football. My other friends happen to not know it as well. Friend: Hey, what have you been doing? Busy with work? Me: Nah... Just busy with football Friend: Eh? You play? Me: No, watching WC2006 Friend: WC... what?? Me: You know.. World Cup? Friend: World Cup of... ??? Me: Football? Soccer?? Brazil?? (hoping to see some spark) Friend: Oh!! That! Isn't that over yet? Me: .... 0____0... What? It just started! We've still got a month to go! Friend: Ohhhh... Sorry, I don't know much about football. Hence... The image... Kekeke.. LOL!!! June 11 The Greatest Show On EarthWorld Cup 2006 or affectionally known as "The Greatest Show on Earth" has started. Everything will come to a standstill. Everyone will be losing some sleep, watching the game on tv. Its a bit of a hassle for us here in M'sia, as the matches will be shown late at night and into the wee hours of the morning. I just caught the first few opening matches but I've got to say, the best one I've watched so far was the Trinidad/Tobago vs Sweden in Group B. Both teams played their best, but Trinidad/Tobago played better as they were down to 10 men only... The ref was reasonable, booking a few players for rough play and eventually sending 1 player from Tri/Tob for rough tackle. A real entertaining match, I was expecting Sweden putting in at least a couple of goals but they were denied time and again by the Tri/Tob defenders who did an excellent job at defending deep in the field but also for launching very fast counter-attacks. Much to say, Sweden is mightly embarassed now.. Man of The Match: Shaka Hislop - for magnificent saves June 05 My Dad's BreadGuess what this is?? ![]() Got it figured out?? If you said either,
To be precise, it's wholemeal bread... Anyway, more pics... Anyway, after getting the bread out of the baking tin, we have to put the little round bread on the rack to cool. After that, have to protect the bread from the flies and stuff.. Keke.. ![]() As for recipe, I can't disclose as I didn't bake the bread. My dad did. He has the recipe somewhere in his head. After much experiment, he found the proper formula to bake nice bread. With the cost of stuff increasing, baking your own bread makes a lot of sense. It costs RM4.50 for wholemeal and its usually very sweet. My dad puts very little sugar and he uses no perservative. The cost of getting the flour is a little pricey but he can make a lot of bread from it. :) Besides, you can add in any other stuff you want, like dried fruit, extra cereal to make the bread tasty. How long does his baked read last? About 1-1.5 weeks. However, we will cut up the bread and put it in the freezer so that it will last longer naturally. What do I put on my dad's bread? Well, plain old butter will suffice. Its great for sandwiches too!! Hehe... Yummy!!!! June 04 Congrats Dharsh!!!Well.. Not by blood anyway. ^_^ I've known Dharsh (aka Dharshie) ever since we were kids back in kindergarten and I've always known that I'll be friends with her until our hair turns white (mine turned white prematurely) and our teeth fall out... Kekeke... Anyway, 2 years back, she made the startling earth-shattering announcement that she was engaged (we didn't know she had been dating) and that she would be getting married in Jan 2005. Just last night, we had a big announcement that she was expecting her first child! Woo hoo!!! Orange juice all around!! We can't have alcohol and so, orange juice will have to suffice... Congrats Dharsh and Siva!!! P/S: If you can't figure out who Dharsh is, she's the one with the long, curly hair sitting towards the edge of the table. ^_^ Romance NovelsI never did understood anything about Romance novels. The saga about boy meeting girl (or girl meeting girl or guy meeting girl.. have to be PC these days.. I did read a couple of "classic" Romance stories like Phantom of The Opera by Gaston Leroux(the book NOT the musical...-___-|||) and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen but that was it. I couldn't subjet myself to the wishy-washy declaration of undying love (or lust) for ____ <-- fill in name of lead male character and ____ <-- fill in name of lead female character. I found out that my favourite genre was Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Short stories (mainly Roald Dahl... not dahl curry...) AND **yawn** classic books by the ancient writers like Plato and Homer (yes.. I have a copy of The Illiad). Well, I found out that most of my gal pals (those who read) are fans of the odd Romance novel or authors and they have read famous authors like Amanda Quick and Judith McNaught. Anyway, EV and a few other pals have been long big fans of romance novels. They used to borrow like crazy and when they could afford it, they'll even buy some. When we visit the bookstore, me, being the geek, will run off towards the IT/Eng/Business section, while she lingers around the Romance section. It's easy to find where the Romance section is, its the place where there are a lot of books with pictures of semi-naked guys/gals and mainly pink (bright pink) covers on the shelves. I avoid going to that section as it gives me: 1. Instant headahe (due to massive overload of too much pink) 2. A possiblility of dying by laughter when I read the back covers of such books if no. 1 doesn't kill me first... 3. WHHHATTTT?? (cannot comprehend the main storyline of how boy n gal meet - vampire story) Anyway, some of my pals seem to have a lopsided view of Romance. They are STILL waiting for that one guy to sweep them off their feet and I wonder if it is because of they have been reading too much Romance novels. In real life, guys are a lazy bunch. Some of them will go the extra mile to woo the gal, but after that, they settle down to just doing nothing (i.e. I already got the girl-ma, what for do more, right or not?). Have you seen any Romance novels about married/engaged couples? It doesn't seem to generate any sales, rite? Anyway, if Romance novels were not filled with sizzling sex parts and passion, it won't sell, right? Well, its a billion-dollar industry, supported by millions of fans who are just wishing for more passion and spark in their relationship. Hmmmm... Well, this doesn't work for me. However, I've gotta say, I'm a sucker for certain Romance flicks but then, I get very nausceous afterwards... May 27 Jamie Oliver's B'dayIt's 12:29am, May 27th 2006. Do you know where your celebrity chef is? It's Jamie Oliver's Birthday. He's officially 31 this year and venturing well into his 30's. I'm wondering if I'll hold up when I start my 30's... Happy B'day Jamie!! Cheers!!!!!! P/S: Jamie Oliver is my fav celebrity chef. Love his recipes and tips. As you might have noticed from my foodie postings.. Kekekeke... ^____^ May 24 Kingdom Hearts IIThis post is looooonnnnggg overdue... Sis's BF: Hey, heard that you got a PS2. Me: Yea, that's right. Don't play much with it these days. Sis's BF: So, what kind of games you play? Me: Hmmm.. All sorts, FPS, some Action RPG, Sports.. Mainly We Love Katamari.. Sis's BF: You play Final Fantasy? Kingdom Hearts? Me: Hmmm.. Not yet, no time to play those. Sis's BF: Oh! You should really try it out... Anyway, turns out that my sis' bf is a big PS2 fan and that he plans to get one someday. He used to have one, but somehow it got lost. Some weeks later @ home... Sis: Eh!! Can you bring out the PS2? Me: Sure... You guys want to play? Sis's BF: Yeah! I just downloaded a copy of Kingdom Hearts II! NOTE: I do not condone buying pirated stuff... Though... *ahem*... Me: Wow! Cool!! Sis's BF: So, this is your copy... So, let's try it out! Me: **saliva dripping** We booted up the game and we saw the intro, with some cut-scenes from the previous Kingdom Hearts. The graphics looked really good compared to the last one. I didn't get to play the first installment but I saw some of the video on Kingdom Hearts before. So, graphics-wise, this latest game is good. However, because of all the cut-scenes and fantastic graphics, sometimes, you'll have to endure some pretty long load times, even when during the play of the cut-scene! It looks like your PS2 has "hung" but in fact, you can see the characters blinking or making some small gesture, indicating some system loading. Well, Kingdom Hearts II is more RPG-like this time around and as usual, you get to choose which abilities and magic spells you want to improve for your character as well as our usual sidekicks, Donald and Goofy. Of course, we get to have different "temporary" characters to the game as well, such as Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean as well as cute and fuzzy Pooh Bear. Being a Square-Enix+Disney combiation, you'll see your fair share of Square-Enix characters like Squall Leonhart and from Final Fantasy VIII. The game starts off in Twillight Town and so, the town looks like it has a slight twinge of yellow/gold wherever you go. You get to play as Roxas who is hanging out with his group of friends during summer vacation. There are mini quests such as collecting enough $$$ to get on a train to go to the beach. However, they are interrupted by mysterious people and this is where a lot of cutscenes come in, some of which from the previous Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Anyway, we were wondering if we were ever going to play as Sora again as we played for about 4hrs before finally reaching the game intro... proper!! So, we got to play an intro before going into the real game! Nice idea... The sad part is, just when you start to get attached to Roxas, Sora is awakened and so, we get to play as Sora again. So, Sora gets his key-blade, even updates his "fashion" as well as reunited with his pals, Donald and Goofy. The Gummi ship returns and so, we get to travel between the worlds. However, because of the latest mysterious incidents which first affected Roxas, these links have been lost and so, we have to reopen them again. So far, we've played until the Pirates of the Carribean world and it is tiring. If not for the Kingdom Hearts II guide which my sis's bf has, we'll probably be circling around for a while before we get to play the good stuff. In all, Kingdom Hearts II has a really nice storyline, it picks up where it left off from the last two installments, with updated graphics and gameplay, it is a joy to play and watch as a spectator. However, the beginning of this new installment can be a bit slow, you'll just have to be a little patient first, because you'll be treated to a very good intro... Go out and get this one! It's a keeper! Full review here @ Gamespot.com May 19 One Hundred PlusA lot of people probably know about the myths surrounding a certain fizzy beverage but I'm about to tell you that there is a certain beverage out there which is very good for health or probably making you feel better (placebo effect??) if you're not well.
I've been told that a certain fizzy drink can do the following:
Anyway, I was having a bit of stomach trouble due to some wayward "sambal" in my nasi lemak and so, it was feeling very bloated and I had to visit the loo several times.
Dad: You do know that you could just take salt with water? Me: Eh? That would mean salt water, i.e. sea? I think the salt+sugar solution is ok Dad: No-la! Can take salt with water will work... Me: ??? ** Take 100+ bottle and drink **
I felt a whole lot better. Not sure what the drink did but the isotonic mix did help. Probably the salt reacted with whatever germs and I slept really well last night. I even managed to have a pretty decent breakfast too!
I've taken this 100+ drink when I had a slight fever before and it helps too! Perhaps its the isotonic mixture that this helping at the molecular level to have enough water to fight the germs???
I don't know, but I keep a bottle of this nearby for emergencies like this. May 17 Things To When You Turn 18...Hehehe... This is a day any 17-year-old looks forward to... Anyway, I don't recall doing anything crazy on my 18th b'day (which happens eons ago)...
However, that doesn't stop me from starting a simple list...
Item #5 may seem a bit strange, but its best to change your IC (now known as MyKad) when you hit 18. Yea, some people don't bother to change their IC again, once they've outgrown their 12-year-old "looks". Anyway, best to do that because you can get fined for not changing your IC.
So, remember this when you have any relative, sibling or friend who is turning 18 soon. Best to change the IC so that you can avoid getting fined.
NOTE: These links are in Bahasa Malaysia. May 11 EV Updates from HK Disneyland!!!The wonders of telecomunication.
EV manages to suck my blood even though she's about a few thousand km away.
Here's a sample of her SMS:
"Me at HK disneyland. Bought a nice t-shirt for you. With all the character. Do you want another pooh bear?"
Awwwww.. Its so nice for her to rub in the salt that she's at HK Disneyland while I'm slogging away at work everyday and night.
Well, the pooh bear thing is because I had a nice pooh bear for company back in uni, alongside my dinosaur. Don't ask me about Dino.. errr.. the dinosaur.
Anyway, its nice of EV to get me a souvenir. Hehehe... Am looking forward to my gift. May 04 Hey! I'm 29.. again!!(( YAWN )) Hard to stay awake these days... Must not watch too much anime. ** Beep ** **Beep ** Aiya! Another SMS... Let me see, from who... Oh!! Its EV. I wonder if she's continuing with her torturous blackmail SMS... "You went to sleep alry? Anyway, its after my bday. I'm 29 again... :-D...." What the??? What nonsense is this??? (( Proceed to call EV )) EV: Harlo? Yeah? Me: What's all this nonsense about you turning 29 again?? EV: Ohhh.. Yeah what... Its officially not my b'day anymore. So, I'm 29-la again... Me: ????? -___-" EV: Hehehehe ((fake laff )) Me: So, what does that make me? 28? EV: Yealo! You should be 28!! Me: ???????? This conversation is going nowhere. No point reasoning with you. EV: Hehehehe ((fake laff )) Wait-la! Wait until your b'day comes!! No idea what made EV regress in her age. Hmmm... Anyway, I wonder what I'll go through on my b'day this year. Hehe... May 02 Happy B'day EV...May 01 Weird "Trackbacking"Just discovered this bug while trying to start an entry for my blog this week...
Anyway, I discovered that people have started to "spam" my trackback link. I thought it was weird because I never had anyone trackback to my blog ever since I started it last year.
After going though the administrative page, I discovered that the links were from search engines, more like "trackback spamming engines" which just searches the web for certain keywords and then, when it finds one, just links back to your site. Hmmmm... When the user clicks on the link, it just brings them to a search site.
Not so bad, but I can imagine if my site were to link back to some pr0n site, its not going to look very good.
So, I've disabled trackbacking and hopefully, this would stop.
BTW, Happy Labour Day, although, there's only 30 minutes left... -____-" April 28 Suck/Vomit BloodIt's that time of year again... Come towards the end of April, people start to be very flustered and out of breath. Why? Because its tax time... This year, was a special year, its the 2nd year that self-assessment is fully enforced by our dear blood-suck... I mean very important IRB (Inland Revenue Board or affectionately known as LHDN - Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri). How else will the wheels of government turn (slow or fast depending on which end of the wheel you are at) if not without being oiled by our hard-earned $$$? Anyway, I mentioned that this year was very special because the new electronic submission of our dear Borang BE (for individual) or Borang B (for business), called e-HASiL, which made life easier for a lot of people who find the manual submission a bit too much of a hassle, i.e. 1. Get form & fill up - GGGGGRRRRR... 2. Check form - Name... kolek, I/C no... kolek, tax to pay: rm200... ????!!!?? 3. Go to IRB branch office - %^$%#%#$%$#.. Traffic jam!!! 4. Queue up - @#$%$^$.. Long queue!! 5. Pass form to officer & get acknowledgement - **phew** 6. Go home.. & pray that all is well... :) With the new system, all you need is to get the pin no from the IRB branch - just show them your I/C and fill up the form there, go home, and register to download the digital certificate to your PC. You can download the form (a software which utilizes Adobe Acrobat 7.x) and then, begin filling up your form. No more hassle with the calculator as the form has built-in formulae to calculate the various amounts as you fill up certain columns. When you're done, all you need to go is to sign the form digitally and submit to the e-HASiL. KAO TIM! Haha.. Anyway, the point of my story is not just to applaud the application, but also to relate something funny. Kekeke... This year, for some reason, I had quite a number of questions to ask, and so, naturally, I turn to my fountain of wisdom.. EV. Yes... Yes.. I've got to endure some hours of mental torture... o_0... But then, this is important, I'm filling taxes and so, I'll endure it. Keke.. A snippet of conversation... EV: Halo!! Yes??!! Me: ** cough ** ** cough** EV: Eh?? I thought someone is sick... Cannot do work... Must tidur early... You bluff or what? So, what you want??! Me: ......... People sick but still got to do work... EV: You don't pretend... You bluff one.. MUAHAHAAHHA Me: -__-"....... EV: Quick! Tell me what you want? Me: I want to be super powerful and rich. Can or not? Kakaka.... EV: Haha.. Dream-la you.. Quck... what you want?? ** Some pause ** Me: Eh.. ((trying to sound innocent)), I want to ask you some tax questions... EV: Wah?? Why you got so many questions one??? That day ask me about the computer, this time, what? Me: Eh.. I saw something weird in my EA form-le, dunno what to do... EV: Aiyooo.. what-la? They add in more $$ esit? If like that, good-la.. Pay more to government.. Muahahaha!!! Me: ....... Me: No-la!! I want to ask, why they put in that amount for 2004 in 2005 EA?? EV: Hah??? What?? Hmmm.. I don't know-le.. You just add in to the form-la as per your EA form... Should be ok-la. Now, quick... Any more questions????? Why you ask me so many times, one... You got a lot of $$$ owed by government-ar? Me: Aiyo.. You wish-la... Hmmmm... I think that's all kua. If I got more, can I call you back? EV: Aiyooo... Today is what day liao... You not yet submit, you will get fined-le... Me: You-le! Tok so much. Submitted liao or not? EV: Ehehheee (fake laff)... I will submit tomorrow during lunch... Me: Nah... See!!!! Cakap banyak! You also!!! Lousy!!! Anyway, that was yesterday. This afternoon, I managed to get hold of the pin from the IRB office and then, called EV to tell her about the good news... Me: Eh.. I got the pin liao... Fast-le EV: Then, you submitted liao or not?? Me: Norchet... Will do it when I get home tonite... I may call you again because I may have some questions again.. EV: ** vomit blood ** Kekekee... For the first time in a long time, I've managed to make EV vomit blood. Hahaha.. Finally.. I've managed to turn the tables on her. LOL!!! Anyway, my submission went fine. I just hope that all goes well for the rest of you folks out there who are planning to submit your taxes this weekend. Good luck!! |
